Tokyo Sumo Morning Practice Tour: Behind the Scenes of Sumo

Meet your guide at the designated location and head to an authentic sumo stable. Watch approximately one hour of intense morning practice, where professional rikishi train in a real working environment. Depending on your booking option, enjoy live commentary or an audio guide to learn about the history, traditions, and techniques of sumo. After the training session, take a commemorative photo with the wrestlers before the tour concludes.

・Please note that age restrictions vary depending on the time slot, so please check when making a reservation.
・Children aged 4 and above are subject to a tour fee. Children aged 3 and under can sit on a guardian’s lap free of charge, but if a separate seat is needed, a tour fee will apply.
・Please watch the training silently and respectfully ・When you take pictures, please do not use flash and turn off the shutter sound.
・Please do not record the video ・Not wheelchair accessible ・Please be at the meeting point on time.
・If you arrive late, you may enter partway through, but we cannot extend the viewing time or offer a refund.
・No changes or refunds of any kind can be made less than 24 hours prior to the tour start time.
・Please follow the guide's instructions during the tour.
・Depending on the day, the morning training schedule may vary, and therefore the duration of the tour may be slightly affected by this, especially when there is a Grand Tournament coming up.
Please be aware that the training may end earlier than usual, meaning the tour will be shorter than mentioned.

Full refund 8 days prior to your tour, excluding a 5% transaction fee. * Must be made 8 full days prior to 12:00 AM (JST) the day your tour is scheduled. For example, if your tour is scheduled for Friday, cancel by the 1 week before Thursday at midnight (previous Friday 12:00 AM in the tour’s timezone) for full refund minus a 5% transaction fee. If you cancel within 7 days, our cancellation charges (incl.5% transaction fee) are as follows: ・8 days or more days prior:5% ・4-7 days prior:15% ・3 days prior:25% ・2 days prior:35% ・the day prior:55% ・on the day:100%
